Sydney’s favourite mare Hot Danish is a $1.95 favourite ahead of tomorrows Group 2 Expressway Stakes at Rosehill.
Hot Danish goes into tomorrows race in peak condition and Tim Clark the regular jockey for the mare couldn’t be more confident.
The mare holds, among others, an incredible first up record of 8 starts for 7 wins and 1 second. Track stats also suit the mare as does distance, track rating and distance form. Clark is confident the mare will get all the favours from barrier 1.
He is positive that he has a plethora of options regardless of whether or not his mount leads. “If something goes mad, I can sit off them but we have plenty of options from barrier one.†Clark said.
Weight for age scaling allows the mare to have 2 kilograms off the other 7 runners.
Team Hawkes’ runner Love Conquers All is second favourite and looks to present the biggest danger to the odds on favourite.
Whilst other group one winners Danleigh and Vision And Power make up a quality field of 8.
